This morning when I logged into my email, our confirmation and check in information for our condo was in my inbox. It seems they have a lock box on the condo that has the keys in it. So all we needed to get into the condo was the code for that. There is also a code to get to the beach.
The information included our rental agreement and a receipt for our payment. There is also information about parking and usage of the facilities. It gives details about reporting damage and things like that. I'm very excited. It's all even more real now.
After punching in the exact address of the condo on Mapquest, it tells me that we are going to drive a total of 789.64 miles, or 13 hours. Which will vary according to how many stops we have to make along the way. That will be probably at least three gas stops because of varying degrees of MPG's on the three vehicles, and who knows how many stretch the legs/potty stops, plus at least one meal stop.
We cannot check in until 3:00 p.m. at least. They said it could be later than that if they have extra cleaning to do. But, that's ok, because Jeremy and Kelly are able to get right into their condo and Michael's parents will probably not have to wait that late. So, I'm sure we'll manage until we can get into ours. It looks like the condo is booked the whole month of July, so there will be someone checking out the that morning before we check in.
